Many people in the Halifax area were dealing with flooding on Friday night, following a series of torrential downpours and thunderstorms.
Halifax District RCMP issued a traffic advisory around 8 p.m. AT asking drivers to stay home because of reports that stretches of Hammonds Plains Road, Lucasville Road, Sackville Cross Road, and parts of Sackville Drive and Beaver Bank Road had been inundated by floodwaters.
The Bedford Highway (near the Sunnyside Mall) is currently also the Sackville River. <a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/nsstorm?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>#nsstorm</a> <a href=”https://twitter.com/hashtag/nswx?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw”>#nswx</a> <a href=”https://t.co/gDo58t3dn8″>pic.twitter.com/gDo58t3dn8</a>
