Langley, BC (WNEWS BREAKING) – Police in Langley have reported an incident of a shooting on Willowbrook Drive near the Real Canadian Superstore, just near 197 Street.
In a statement released by the Police, at around 3:28 PM, RCMP responded to shots fired. No vitims were located.
“At approximately 3:28pm on April 10th 2024, Langley RCMP responded to a report of shots fired in the area of Willowbrook Dr between 200th st and 198th st. No victims were located.
Officers are currently on scene and are conducting a neighbourhood canvas while also speaking with witnesses to obtain further information. The investigation is still in its early stages and Cst. Prrabjit Chatha stated that Langley RCMP is currently working to determine the possible motive for the shooting.”
Currently, 200 St is closed between 72 Ave and Langley By-Pass, resulting in major traffic congestion along that route.
