As drug-related deaths soar in N.L., this St. John's pub is the first to offer naloxone kits

The Newfoundland Embassy is the first bar and restaurant in Newfoundland and Labrador to distribute naloxone kits, a move the pub’s owner says is an important step in saving lives and lessening the stigma of drug users.

“I think it’s really important for our community,” said Niall Hickey, co-owner of the downtown St. John’s pub.
